Una Maguire Childers, PA-C, MPAS, is a physician assistant who specializes in developmental and behavioral pediatrics at THINK Neurology for Kids in The Woodlands, Katy, Sugar Land, and Lakeway, Texas.
With over 10 years of experience in health care, Mrs. Childers is highly skilled in treating children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), speech and motor delays, sleep disorders, and other learning disabilities. As a compassionate health professional, Mrs. Childers is happy to work with children of all ages to find a path toward a better quality of life.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Childers earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences (with a minor in psychology) at Texas A&M University in College Station. After graduating, she pursued clinical research for the Texas Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Following three years of research, she went on to complete her master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
Mrs. Childers served as a physician assistant at a community-based practice, where she developed her skills in treating developmental disorders. It was during this time she felt increasingly drawn to help and serve children with special needs.
She joined THINK Neurology for Kids in 2023, and it allowed her to deepen her commitment to providing exceptional pediatric care.
Mrs. Childers resides in Fair Oaks Ranch with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys teaching, spending time with family and friends, cooking with her daughter, and traveling.
